A Final Major Project, 'Get It Open' is a campaign to encourage people aged 20-25 to visit an independent book store over an online shop. The project uses 4 distinct colours and patterns for the 4 main different types of shops to differentiate them. The project overall focuses on the items found in the specific consumers bag (or on themselves) and aims to show future consumers what type of store would be better suited for them based on their possessions.
Within the project, Red is for a shop selling classic books, Yellow is for second hand store, Purple is for Children's store and Blue is for a Modern store.
Campaign items included brand guidelines, canvas bags, posters, bookmarks and postcards among other things, all chosen with the intent of being seen within the specific bookish environment when used by the projects' directed audience. ​​​​​​​
